Biography
Shuo Han is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his B.E. and M.E. in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2003 and 2006, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2014. His current research focuses on the theoretical and algorithmic foundations of mitigating and exploiting uncertainties in single-agent and multi-agent systems. He was a finalist for the Best Student Paper Award at the 2013 American Control Conference.
